In each of the global markets that we serve, WorldsView™ Academy ensures that it complies with applicable legislation.

We are a Private Higher Education and Training Institution. In order to comply with current education and training legislation in South Africa, WorldsView™ Academy is required to be accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) in respect of its Higher Education qualifications. It is also of great value to WorldsView™ Academy and our clients that we submit our skills programmes and short courses for accreditation to the appropriate SAQA registered Education & Training Quality Assurance body (ETQA) for the respective economic sector. Organisation Development and Human Resources falls within the scope of the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP) ETQA in accordance with the Regulations under the SAQA Act, 1995 (Act No 58, of 1995).

Council on Higher Education (CHE):
The South African Council on Higher Education is an independent statutory body established by the Higher Education Act, No. 101 of 1997. The CHE, as the Quality Council for Higher Education, advises the Minister of Education on all higher education issues and is responsible for quality assurance and promotion through the Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC). The CHE was established in May 1998 in terms of the Higher Education Act, No 101 of 1997.

South African Board for People Practices (SABPP):
The South African Board for People Practices (SABPP) is the registered professional body for the Human Resource and Organisation Development profession. The SABPP’s role is to professionalise this function to ensure that HR and OD become increasingly recognized and respected professions. The Board is also an accredited ETQA (Education and Training Quality Assurance body) under the SAQA Act and thus a statutory body.

WorldsView™ Academy is involved with the SABPP in two ways:

As an ETQA – WorldsView™ Academy is accredited with the SABPP. Delegates attending the various WorldsView™ Academy programmes are afforded the opportunity of being assessed against the respective unit standards the fall within the SABPP scope in order to be registered on the national learner’s records database with SAQA as competent against in the respective unit standards and/or skills programmes.
As a Professional Body – WorldsView™ Academy is a registered CPD provider with the SABPP. All WorldsView™ Academy programmes afford registered HR and OD practitioners the opportunity of gaining CPD points towards their professional level and development. WorldsView™ Academy is also able to assist Practitioners that have not yet registered professionally with the SABPP with the process.
