You have an issue, something that needs solving, work to do. You have taken the decision to get someone in to help – you will delegate or contract out some (or all) of the work. Months later, after much busyness, the issue is still there. Its like using a damp mop to get a grease stain out of a wooden floor – when the wood is wet, the stain is invisible. Then the wood dries, and there is the stain. All that effort with no result. How is it that in our rush to get something done we create busyness and not results?
